Tournament Champions
The forecasted storms across the Carolinas never materialized Saturday, allowing the Upstate SC and Western NC Amateur Players Tour to take full advantage of cool, overcast conditions as it made its annual trip to Brevard, N.C., for a stop at Connestee Falls Golf Club. With comfortable temperatures and calm weather throughout the day, players were able to focus solely on navigating one of the region’s most scenic and challenging mountain layouts.
Regarded as Brevard’s premier mountain course, Connestee Falls is an 18-hole championship design by renowned architect George Cobb. Sitting at more than 3,200 feet above sea level, the course features rolling fairways, elevation changes, and picturesque views that create both a rewarding and demanding experience.
