Tournament Champions
For the second tournament in a row, players battled through temperatures that climbed into the mid-80s, but the heat certainly didn’t slow down the competition. With double points and an elevated purse on the line, the field at Pilgrim’s Run Golf Club delivered some outstanding performances from start to finish.
Division 1 saw a great battle at the top as Drake Morse held off Chapter Owner Cassidy Jackson to capture the victory with a solid round of 78.
Division 2 belonged to Luciano Stornant, who fired the round of the day with a 76. The win marks his second victory on tour, proving he is quickly becoming one of the players to watch this season.
Division 3 was claimed by Mike Kendall, continuing an impressive stretch of golf. With this victory, Kendall has now won two of the last three events, putting together one of the hottest runs on tour.
Division 4 was won by Bryan Voss, whose steady and consistent play throughout the day earned him the top spot in his division.
The drama of the day came in Division 5, where the championship required extra golf to determine a winner. After 18 holes weren’t enough, Roger Eberlein, a guest from St. Louis, and Jack Huminsky headed to a playoff. Three playoff holes later, Eberlein finally emerged victorious after 21 holes of competition, holding off a determined challenge from Huminsky in one of the most exciting finishes of the season.
The Mid-Am Net Division was also claimed by Luciano Stornant, who once again found himself battling Cassidy Jackson at the top of the leaderboard. Stornant continued his outstanding day by securing another victory and adding valuable points to his season campaign.
In the Senior Net Division, Chris Handy, a Nevada native, put together a strong performance to bring home the victory and add his name to the list of champions from an outstanding day of competition.
Congratulations to all of our winners and competitors who braved the heat and delivered another memorable event. With elevated points awarded and the season race tightening, every shot is beginning to matter a little more as we head deeper into the 2026 Michigan Amateur Players Tour season. ⛳🏆🔥
