Bear Creek Battle
The Texas summer turned up the heat once again as players took on the West Course at Bear Creek Golf Club. Despite the scorching temperatures, the competition never cooled off, with every division battling for top honors and valuable points in another exciting DFW APT event.
Division 1 featured an outstanding performance by Ryan Ku, who fired an impressive even-par 72 to claim the victory. Jacob Weasel followed with a solid 74 to earn second place.
Division 2 saw Clint Justice put together a strong round of 76 to secure the win. Visiting from the Birmingham Chapter, Matthew Bankston played well to finish runner-up with a 78.
Division 3 brought another competitive finish as Sasha Malich claimed first place with an 80. Stu Kambury finished second after posting an 82, while Randy Sitz rounded out the podium with an 83.
Division 4 belonged to Bala Ramamoorthy, whose 82 earned him the victory. Robert La Grace finished just behind with a solid 85 to take second place.
In Division 5, Stephen Lamb captured the win with a 92, while Jonathan Sample finished second with a 94.
The Mid-Am Net title also went to Bala Ramamoorthy, making it a two-trophy day with an outstanding performance.
The Senior Net competition featured a strong showing from several players, led by Bill Chilson of the Oklahoma City Chapter, who claimed first place. Robert La Grace finished second, Stephen Lamb took third, Stu Kambury earned fourth, and Juan Dorado rounded out the top five.
