Tournament Recap – Milham Park Golf Course
After dealing with smoke from the Canadian wildfires earlier in the week, Mother Nature gave us a perfect day for golf. The hazy skies gave way to beautiful clear sunshine and ideal conditions, setting the stage for an outstanding day of competition at Milham Park Golf Course.
Division 1 featured a tight race, with Cassidy Jackson taking home the title after shooting a +4 (76). First-time competitor Owen Santman made an impressive debut, finishing just two strokes back with a +6 (78).
Division 2 saw Cade McManus earn the championship, holding off Dominic Paiz by two shots.
Division 3 came down to the final hole. Mike Kendall and Zach Walker were tied heading to the 18th, but Mike came through under pressure to edge out Zach and secure the divisiontitle.
Division 4 was another one-shot thriller, with Michael Wright shooting an 86 to edge out Brian Rigozzi by a single stroke and claim the championship.
Division 5 was a back-and-forth battle throughout the day. Robert Barto held off multi-time winner Jack Huminsky by two shots to capture the division title.
Special recognition goes to our net champions:
- Mid-Am Net: Cassidy Jackson, earning his third Mid-Am Net victory and third Division title of the season.
- Senior Net: Robert Barto, who added the Senior Net Championship to his Division 5 victory after an outstanding day of golf.
With close finishes across every division, including multiple championships decided by just one or two shots and a Division 3 title decided on the final hole, the tournament delivered excitement from the first tee to the final putt.
Congratulations to all of our winners and everyone who competed. Thank you to all of the players for bringing great sportsmanship and competitive spirit to the event.
A special thank you goes out to Milham Park Golf Course for providing fantastic hospitality and an even nicer golf course. The staff, facilities, and course conditions helped make this tournament a great experience for everyone involved.
Don’t forget, we have two upcoming events on the schedule. Our next stop is this Saturday in Ottawa Lake at Legacy by Arthur Hills. We will also be heading to Monroe Country Club on July 27th for the second tournament that was previously postponed. Registration for both events will close on Tuesday, July 21st, so be sure to get signed up before the deadline!
