Tournament Recap – Legacy Golf Club
What a fantastic day on the course yesterday at Legacy Golf Club by Arthur Hills in Ottawa Lake! The course was in outstanding condition and provided the perfect setting for another memorable tournament.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to compete and make it another great event. Congratulations to all of our winners on an outstanding day of golf!
🏆 Division 1 was won by Ryan Schoch, who fired an impressive +3 (75) to earn the championship. Outstanding playing!
🏆 Division 2 was claimed by Rick Williamson of the Columbus Chapter, who continues to make his mark on our Michigan Chapter. This victory marks his second tournament win in Michigan—another impressive accomplishment. Congratulations, Rick!
🏆 Division 3 featured one of the closest season-long races in the chapter, and this week was no exception. Kevin VanDeWoestyne rose to the challenge, pulling away to earn the division title by two strokes. Congratulations on a well-earned victory!
🏆 Division 4 was won by Adam Powell, who continues to build an impressive tournament résumé. This latest victory adds to his growing list of wins on tour and is another testament to his consistent play. Congratulations, Adam!
🏆 Division 5 was captured by Kevin Filby of the Columbus Chapter, giving Columbus another impressive victory on the day. Congratulations, Kevin, on a great round!
The Columbus Chapter also had a strong showing in the specialty divisions. Rick Williamson captured the Senior Net title, while Kevin Filby earned the Mid-Am Net championship, capping off an outstanding day for the Columbus contingent.
Thank you to the staff at Legacy Golf Club for providing an outstanding venue, and to all of the volunteers whose hard work helped make the event a success.

Make sure you get signed up for our final elevated event of the season on August 29th at Calderone! Not only is Calderone an outstanding golf course, but points will be doubled and we’ll have an elevated purse on the line. It’s a great opportunity to finish the season strong, compete for valuable points, and enjoy one more premier event with the Michigan Chapter.
