Tamarack Country Club Golf Tournament Results

Last week, the Amateur Players Tour converged on Tamarack Country Club. Tamarack Golf Club is a PETE DYE designed 18-hole public golf course located in Shiloh, Illinois. Originally opened in 1965, Tamarack offers both classic and a links golfing experience. The course features a relaxing and pleasurable experience for any caliber of player. 

In Division 1, we had some phenomenal scores! Matt Minder and Nate McCutcheon had a great round shooting 2 under-par. After all of Division 1 finished, they went out for a playoff. The playoff went on for two holes. McCutcheon was able to take down Minder with a birdie on #2 and Minder ended up with a par. 

Division 1 Results:

 In Division 2, we had an incredibly tight race! Tony Ham of Mesa, AZ took home the win. Ham shot even par on the day in his first APT St. Louis event. Chad Hamilton had a great day shooting one over-par 72. Hot on his heels was Clayton Pilger, shooting a two over-par 73. 

Division 2 Results:

1. Clayton Pilger: +2 - 73 

In Division 3, Brian Dobrynski earned his first win on tour shooting a four over-par 75. David Baxmeyer and Michael Cason tied for second both shooting five over-par 76 on the day. Michael McCormick of Chesterfield Missouri had his best event of the season shooting six over-par 77.

1. Michael McCormick: +6 – 77 

In Division 4, Allen Starnes came in swinging! Allen shot six over-par 77 on the day to take home the win. Toby Chrzanowski of Wentzville, MO continues to play well. Toby shot nine over-par 80 earning him his second consecutive 2nd place finish. Benjamin Bujnak shot twelve over par 83 to take home a third-place finish. 

Division 4 Results: 

1. Allen Starnes: +6 – 77 

1. Toby Chrzanowski: +9 – 80 

1. Benjamin Bujnak: +12 – 83 

In Division 5, we had a playoff in Division 5 leaders Jerry Miller and Tim Jones. Jerry and Tim shot eighteen over-par 89 in regulation. Jerry was able to come out on top of the playoff, making him the champion of division 5. Patrick Kelley and Wiley Johnson Tied for third shooting nineteen over-par 90.

1. Jerry Miller: +18 – 89 (Playoff) 

1. Tim Jones: +18 – 89 (Playoff)
