⛳ TOURNAMENT RECAP – THE CHIMNEYS GOLF CLUB ⛳

We had a great day of tournament golf at The Chimneys Golf Club! From a career-low round to tight battles and a playoff finish, there was plenty of action across every division.
🏆 DIVISION 1
Eric Benson and newcomer David Walterhouse were evenly matched throughout the front nine, but Eric was able to pull ahead on the back and secure the victory. Great showing by David in his first event!

🔥 DIVISION 2 – CAREER ROUND!
The round of the day belonged to Mitch Haig, who fired a career-low 4-under 68 and ran away with the division by an incredible 10 strokes!
Charles Long from Augusta finished runner-up, while Benton Yaun rounded out the top three.

🎯 DIVISION 3
John Perron came out firing, posting a 35 on the front nine with two birdies! Shawn Powers kept the pressure on, but John held him off down the stretch to capture the victory by 2 strokes.
Sidney Divine finished third to round out the podium.

💪 DIVISION 4
Jan Gamlin put together a strong round of 83 to take the Division 4 title by an impressive 6 shots!
Monty Berry finished second, with Olumide Akingbemi taking third.

⚔️ DIVISION 5 – PLAYOFF DRAMA!
Division 5 couldn’t be decided in regulation!
Richard Kemp and newcomer Ed Alcock both finished with rounds of 91, sending them to a playoff. On the first playoff hole, both players stepped up and hit great drives, but it was Richard Kemp who came away with the victory!
Birmingham Chapter Owner Tim Harbin finished third.

💰 MID-AM NET
Mitch Haig wasn’t finished after his incredible Division 2 performance. He also captured the Mid-Am Net title by an amazing 13 shots!

Jan Gamlin added another win to his day, taking home the Senior Net title by 3 shots!
