Stagecoach Shootout @ Terra Lago Golf Club (South Course)
Results & Recap – Indio, CA
Players headed out to the desert for the Stagecoach Shootout at Terra Lago Golf Club on the South Course, where the day began with overcast skies, cool temperatures, and strong desert winds gusting up to 23 mph. Early conditions made for a challenging start, as players battled swirling winds and tough scoring conditions throughout the morning. By midday, however, the clouds cleared and the desert showed off its best side: sunny skies, beautiful mountain views, and comfortable temperatures in the mid-70s proving the kind of conditions players travel to the desert for.
Let’s get to the action…
Division 1

The action heated up on Hole #8, where Watson, Renda, and Larson all found birdies in a dramatic scoring stretch. Andrew Mitchell answered right back with a birdie on #9, but Quinn Larson doubled down by making his second birdie of the day on #9, keeping the pressure on the field. Watson added another birdie on #14, continuing his strong play in difficult scoring conditions and helping separate himself in one of the day’s most competitive divisions. His steady round earned him the Division 1 victory with a winning score of 74.

Division 3
Division 3 delivered one of the tightest finishes of the day. Timothy Bias (La Verne, CA) and Keith Muraoka (Costa Mesa, CA) both found birdies on #14, but it was Bias’s steady play throughout the round that made the difference. Four strong pars on the front nine and two more on the back helped him post a winning score of 82. Just one shot behind was Tommy Sutera (Long Beach, CA), whose round of 83 featured three pars on the front and five on the back as he pushed hard to catch the leader down the stretch. Kent Muraoka (Azusa, CA) made one of the best comeback efforts of the day. After a rough front nine, he rallied by parring Holes #12 through #17 before finishing in style with a birdie on #18, sealing a score of 85 and earning third place.
Division 4
Division 4 came down to a true head-to-head battle between Brad Forsyth (Alta Loma, CA) and Thomas Meagher (Palm Desert, CA). The pair played one of the fastest rounds of the day, finishing in just 3 hours and 33 minutes, while grinding through challenging wind conditions.
