    STL Recap: Bogey Creek Reschedule

The APT St. Louis chapter returned to Bogey Creek Golf Club on Saturday for the rescheduled event at one of the area’s longtime hidden gems.

Formerly known as Crowne Pointe, Bogey Creek once again delivered a challenging test with a mix of demanding tee shots, well-protected greens, and scoring opportunities that rewarded consistent play. With the summer stretch of the season underway, players competed for valuable Autohaus BMW Player of the Year points as several division races continue to take shape.

    Division 1

Matt Minder of Mechanicsburg, Illinois claimed the Division 1 title with a 2-over-par 74. Minder was the only player in the division, and broke 75, adding another strong finish to his 2026 campaign.

    Division 2

Scott Harper of Millstadt, Illinois earned the Division 2 victory with a 4-over-par 76. Paul Wilson finished runner-up at 12-over-par.

    Division 3

Michael Burch of St. Louis captured the Division 3 title with a 2-over-par 74, finishing two shots clear of Jacob Simmons.

Jason Stone, currently fourth in the Autohaus BMW Division 3 Player of the Year standings, continued his consistent season with a tie for third place, while Scott Sahli added another top-five finish to remain in the mix in the Division 4 standings.

    Division 4

John Abercrombie of Cape Girardeau secured the Division 4 title after posting a 9-over-par 81. Brad Henderson and Michael Moynihan shared runner-up honors at 13-over-par.

Dave Draucker, currently second in the Division 4 Player of the Year race, recorded a tie for fourth to keep pace near the top of the standings.

    Division 5

Roger Eberlein continued his strong 2026 campaign with a Division 5 victory at 13-over-par 85. The win adds to his lead in the Autohaus BMW Division 5 Player of the Year race as the season moves into the heart of the summer schedule.

Sondra Braun, Joseph Hangyal, and Chris Brockmeyer shared runner-up honors at 19-over-par.

    Mid-Am Net

Michael Burch completed a standout day by adding the Mid-Am Net title with a 5-under-par 67. Matt Minder and Scott Sahli shared second place at 1-over-par 73.

The additional points help Burch strengthen his position near the top of the Mid-Am Net standings, while Ryan Troll remains the current Player of the Year leader.

    Senior Net

John Abercrombie also earned a second victory on the day, capturing the Senior Net title with a 4-under-par 68.

Roger Eberlein finished runner-up at 3-under-par 69, adding to an already impressive season that has him fourth in the Senior Net Player of the Year standings.

The St. Louis chapter now turns its attention to Persimmon Woods Country Club on June 29 for the next stop in the Golf with Jay Delsing Series. With plenty of events still remaining on the schedule, the race for Autohaus BMW Player of the Year honors remains wide open across every division.
