The Amateur Players Tour Western Kentucky Chapter hosted the Cole Park Championship on Saturday, August 1, at Cole Park Golf Course in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Thank you to Rick Boling, Ray Padillo, andthe Cole Park maintenance and kitchen staff for supporting the event. In Division 1, Norm Field shot an 82 to continue his winning streak, finishing two shots ahead of Kobe Allen. Tyler Hughes of the Kentucky Tour posted the day’s low round with a 75 to win Division 2 over Steven Todd. In Division 3, Matt Love of the Nashville Tour recorded the second-best round of the day with an 80, ahead of Lofton Riley (85) and Adam Martino (87). Marcell Lesueur of the Cincinnati/Dayton Tour shot an 85 to win Division 4, followed by Brandon Jarrell (88) and Nick Johnson (95). Division 5 came down to extra holes, where Michelle Martino of the Nashville Tour birdied the first playoff hole against Mickey Baker to earn her first Western Kentucky victory. In the Mid-Am Net contest, Marcell Lesueur shot a 73 to edge Brandon Jarrell (76) and Lofton Riley (79). Matt Love won Senior Net with a 74, four shots ahead of Mickey Baker.
