Stotz Thoda was born in Memphis and began playing golf at six years old. He grew up competing on the Vince Gill Tennessee Junior Golf Tour and developed a lifelong connection to the game. Stotz went on to attend medical school and completed his residency in Family Medicine. In 2021, he founded MAVIN Golf, combining his professional background with his interest in competitive amateur golf. He joined the Amateur Players Tour in 2023. As the Chapter Owner for Portland, Stotz is focused on growing the APT presence in Oregon and expanding opportunities for amateur players across the state.
