St. Louis Closes the 2026 Local Season with the Local Finals

The 2026 St. Louis season came down to one final round at the Local Finals, with tournament titles and several Player of the Year races still hanging in the balance.

With elevated points available, the final event had the potential to change the season standings, and in a few divisions, that’s exactly what happened. Some season-long leaders held their ground, while others used a big final round to make one last move.

By the end of the day, the Local Finals champions had been crowned and the 2026 St. Louis Player of the Year races were officially decided.

Division 1 – Caleb Schenck

Caleb Schenck saved one of his best rounds for the final event of the local season, firing a 4-over 76 to capture the Division 1 Local Finals title.

It was anything but comfortable. Colin Hall and Noel Fehr each finished just one shot back after matching rounds of 77, while Cameron Hailstone, Chad Crawford and Matt Borgmeyer were another shot behind at 78. With six players separated by only two shots, Schenck’s 76 proved to be just enough.

The victory also gave Schenck a big boost in the final Player of the Year standings, moving him into second with 2,927.50 points.

But the season-long body of work from John Todd proved too much to overcome. Todd finishes the year with 3,422.50 points to claim the 2026 St. Louis Division 1 Player of the Year title.

Division 2 – David Adams

David Adams couldn’t have picked a better time to put together one of his strongest rounds of the season.

Adams posted a 2-over 74 to win the Local Finals by three shots. Taylor Young, Zach Bryan and Michael Mervis each finished at 5-over 77 to share second, while Chris Scoles, Eric Fogleman and Scott Harper were among the group at 79.

But the tournament trophy wasn’t the only thing decided by Adams’ round.

Division 2 featured one of the closest Player of the Year races in St. Louis, and the Local Finals ultimately decided it. Adams’ victory gave him the points he needed to finish the season at 3,041.57, edging Todd Feuerhaken at 3,033.64.

After an entire season, just 7.93 points separated first and second.

David Adams closes the year as both the Local Finals champion and the 2026 St. Louis Division 2 Player of the Year.

Division 3 – Scott Sahli

Scott Sahli closed his local season with a victory in Division 3, posting a 7-over 79 to finish two shots clear of Dave Baxmeyer.

Baxmeyer finished alone in second with an 81, while Vincent Featherson, Schooner Fitzgerald, Tony Proffitt and Justin Wilson all carded 82s to share third.

Sahli’s victory moved him up the final standings, but the Player of the Year title belonged to Gerald Harsley.

Harsley finishes the season atop Division 3 with 1,799.82 points, followed by Mike Paubel at 1,742.76 and Dustin Hunter at 1,706.10.

Gerald Harsley is the 2026 St. Louis Division 3 Player of the Year.

Division 4 – Justin Levine

Division 4 produced another tight finish at the Local Finals, with Justin Levine coming out on top after a strong closing round.

Levine carded a 7-over 79 to earn the victory by a single shot over Daniel Happel, who finished at 8-over 80. Ryan Troll was right behind them with a 9-over 81 to take third, while James Plaire and Baxton Owen shared fourth after matching rounds of 82.

The win gave Levine 258.12 points toward the final standings, but Troll’s third-place finish was enough to secure the season-long title.

Troll entered the Local Finals in the mix for both the Division 4 and Mid-Am Net season titles. While Levine’s big day ultimately pushed him ahead in Mid-Am Net, Troll did what he needed to do in Division 4, finishing the year with 717.21 points.

Mike Scalera finished second with 681.62 points, while Levine’s Local Finals victory vaulted him into third at 681.05, just 0.57 points behind Scalera. Dave Draucker finished fourth at 663.35, followed by Roger Eberlein at 609.62.

Ryan Troll is the 2026 St. Louis Division 4 Player of the Year, while Justin Levine closes the local season with the Division 4 Local Finals victory.

Division 5 – Wayman Declue

Wayman Declue finished the local season with a victory in Division 5, carding a 19-over 91 to hold off Byron Whitlock by two shots.

Whitlock finished second with a 93, followed by Keith Jeffery at 94, Bill Braun at 95 and Joseph Hangyal at 96.

While Declue took home the Local Finals victory, the season-long Division 5 race belonged to Roger Eberlein.

Eberlein had already moved into Division 4 by the end of the season, but the body of work he put together while competing in Division 5 remained the mark everyone else was trying to catch.

Mid-Am Net – Justin Levine

The Mid-Am Net race also came down to the final event, and Justin Levine delivered when it mattered.

Levine fired an 8-under net 64, the low net round of the day, to earn a four-shot victory over Ryan Troll, who finished at 4-under 68. Scott Sahli took third at 3-under 69, while Scott Harper and Matt Borgmeyer tied for fourth at even-par 72.

Troll entered the Local Finals leading the Mid-Am Net Player of the Year standings, but Levine’s victory provided the points he needed to flip the standings at the finish.

Levine ends the season with 440.91 points, while Troll finishes second at 426.08. Dustin Hunter finished third with 357.00.

A Local Finals victory and a season-long title made for quite a finish.

Justin Levine is the 2026 St. Louis Mid-Am Net Player of the Year.

Senior Net – Daniel Happel

Daniel Happel came out on top in a crowded Senior Net Local Finals leaderboard with a 4-under net 68.

He needed every bit of it.

Five players finished just one shot behind at 3-under 69, with David Adams, Dave Baxmeyer, Tony Proffitt, Will Allen and Doyle “Duke” Price all sharing second. Michael Mervis and Vincent Featherson were another shot back at 2-under 70.

While Happel took the Local Finals title, Rick Johnson finished the year on top of the Senior Net Player of the Year standings.

Johnson closes the season with 536.07 points, holding off Michael Lingenfelter, who finished second at 520.00. Mark Smith finished third at 484.40, followed by Roger Eberlein at 451.53 and David Adams at 448.03.

Rick Johnson is the 2026 St. Louis Senior Net Player of the Year.

A Full Season Comes to a Close

From the opening event of the year to the final putt at the Local Finals, the 2026 St. Louis season gave us plenty of close finishes, playoffs, players moving between divisions and Player of the Year races that came down to the very end.

The Local Finals provided one last opportunity to make a move, and we saw exactly that. David Adams turned a Local Finals victory into a Division 2 Player of the Year title by fewer than eight points, while Justin Levine used an 8-under net 64 to jump into the top spot in Mid-Am Net.
