Saturday’s Tex Shootout at Tex Consolver Golf Course was everything amateur golf is about—great competition, clutch shots, and championships that weren’t decided until the very end!
Division 1 put on an incredible show, with the championship going to a playoff after 18 holes couldn’t separate the leaders! Meanwhile, D2, D3, and D4 all came down to the final holes, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats until the last putts dropped.
It didn’t stop there! Both the Mid-Am Net and Senior Net divisions were decided on the 18th hole, proving once again that every single shot matters on the Amateur Players Tour.

A huge thank you goes out to Steve, Seth, and the entire team at Tex Consolver Golf Course. After the heavy rains and storms leading up to tournament day, they worked incredibly hard to have the course in outstanding condition. The fairways, greens, and overall course setup were fantastic, and we truly appreciate everything they did to make this event a success.
Thank you to all of our players who continue to make the Wichita Amateur Players Tour such a competitive and enjoyable place to play. Every tournament keeps getting better, and we can’t wait to do it again at our next stop!
